How this blog came to be

I always looked into blogs and said to myself- whoa, someone has waaay too much time on their hands. And are waaay too much into their own little worlds.

BUT- I have been inspired by my good buddy (and, as a bonus, great work colleague) Another Desert Rat who has a really fun blog spot going that is very entertaining, and often informative to read. Not only that, but when I check in on her blog, I find out a) Where she is working, because she could be anywhere in the desert SW, b) This is what she REALLY thinks about the work she is doing and who she is doing this work with. Oh, and there's some good writing in there too, and c) The swahili word "ninatapika" has made it into her blog. It is an amazingly useful word that I think several people will be find a useful addition to their vocabulary.

Either way, the more I read, the more I see another kindred spirit. Here's where she can be found. http://anotherdesertrat.blogspot.com/

Hey desert rat, may you never have to say Ninatapika again. Here's a photo of her displaying her safety apparel. WORK SAFE HOME SAFE!
